Tunneling Your Router Webpage

SSH Tunneling can be used for many things but this a quick example of how it can be useful and how to syntax works. This will forward my router's webpage from my dorm room to my current machine that is not in my dorm room.

anthony@host$ ssh -L8888:192.168.0.1:80 anthony@my-secret-domain.com

Then you navigate to your local machine's http://localhost:8888 and you will be presented with your router's webpage. Read the man page to find out how this works. --Anthony Clark
