Our Board of Advisors meets once each semester on the SUNY Potsdam campus. The Board gives advice and support to our CS students, faculty, and curriculum. Board members and students gather on Friday night for an informal get-together. On Saturday, the Board conducts its meeting: receiving reports from Board subcommittees, the president of the ACM Student Chapter, and the CS Department Chair; discussing issues of common concern; and listening to oral presentations from students who are completing their capstone experience projects. On Saturday evening, we celebrate with a social hour and dinner. All CS students are strongly encouraged to attend these events. Board meetings provide excellent opportunties for students to meet successful graduates of our CS program and to identify internship and employment opportunities.

Our next Board meeting will take place on the SUNY Potsdam campus on October 3-4, 2008.
