"Introducing LEGO MindStorms NXT and its Use in CS Education" on Saturday, March 10.

kinners@eecs.ku.edu) by Wednesday, February 28 to register for this workshop and take advantage of a lower rate. You cannot register for this workshop on line.

If you flying in to Cincinnati, you might be able
to take the
TANK
(Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky) bus. Route 2X is the
Airport Express, which leaves the airport about every half hour and
drops off at the Covington Transit Center, just across the street
from the convention center and across the street from the Marriott
RiverCenter and the Embassy Suites. The fare is (only) $1.25.

SIGCSE is pleased to announce
two Awards for Outstanding Contributions to Computer Science Education. One is
to
Judith Gal-Ezer, Professor of
Computer Science, The Open University of Israel, and the
other is being made
posthumously to John Hughes, Professor of Information and Communication
Technology, University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
SIGCSE is also pleased to announce that the
Award for Lifetime Service will be presented to John Impagliazzo,
Professor of Computer Science, Hofstra University,
Hempstead, New York, USA.

The deadline for submissions of undergraduate and graduate research
to the
ACM SIGCSE 2007 Student Research Competition
has been extended to Tues.,
October 10th. Research projects from all areas of
CS are acceptable. Travel grants up to $500 may be
available for students who do not have another
source of funding.
